Humphreys , tomorrow (Sun Aug 28) after church we will have a celebration luncheon for our dear sister Linda Griffith, who is moving to Ohio to be closer to family. Come, church, let’s send her off well! We’ll miss Linda but I’m certain she’ll be blessing another community soon! Greetings, Church! How is your summer going? How can I be pastor to you these days? How can the church be community to you? Please keep in prayer those in our community who have COVID. It’s still here, friends. I encourage you to get vaccinated and boosted if that is possible (I’ve had two boosters!) and to mask in public and wash hands frequently. WHAT hymn requests do you have? What topics or scriptures would you like me to address? Come on out around 8 or 8:30 this evening for the outdoor movie UP, to be shown on the lawn outside Lakeview. Bring a chair and maybe a blanket. We’ll begin the movie when it gets dark. If you’re unfamiliar with the movie UP, it’s an animated Pixar movie featuring a grumpy old man, an eager boy in a scouting program, and a lovable dog.
